Official: In the Argonne, after three days' bombardment, the Germans attacked our position 'between the Binarville road and Four de Paris. Twice the enemy was repulsed. They succeeded in gaining a footing on the third attack ou some parts of our lines towards Bagatelle, but elsewhere they were thrown back after a violent fight. MUNITIONS FOR THE FRENCH. GREAT IXC/UK ASK IS PRODUCTION. Received July 2, 12.40 a.m. Paris, July 1. ( In the Senate M. Millerand stated, that since August the French output of munitions had increased sixfold. France was determined to pursue her enemies, no matter what arms were employed.
