FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last. Night. Following is Mr. Bates' weather forecast:— Present indications are for cold and showery weather generally, showery in the west ooast and southernmost districts, but probably improving temporarily; expect moderate to strong westerly and south-westerly winds; the barometer has a rising tendency at present.
