Commissioner 'Cocker endorsed the chairman's 'remarks. Commissioners Kiddle, J!a,ris and Anensen pointed out that a good deal of money had been raised for tile Belgian Knnd by these Junctions and they should be encouraged. After further d ; sci's.ion Commissioner Riddle moved, and Commissioner Harris seconded, that the abdications for the u-e of the hall be "■ranted, but that future, applications have the approval of the Wounded Soldiers Committee. The motion was carried unanimously. The greatest interest is being taken in the National lleseno movement, and a dozen new members were enrolled on Mii'.idav ni-ht. 'Most of the citizens are now members and they are gelling quicklv knocked into shape, by Captain Kir.il.ell and the local olucev, Captain Holmes.
The weather has now cleaved somewhat, after a long spell of rain. The Presbyterians held a. very successful social on iKridav evening in aid of the bazaar funds. There were about lUI) people present, and an enjoyable evening ' was spent with parlor games and ronrpotitions. :v(r.
