The Comomnweall.il Government will then purchase the sugar at cost price, and sell it to the community, using its powers to place the product on the market at its own expense at the best possible price. The. agreement provides that the Commonwealth and Queensland Governments shall co-oper-ate for the benefit of consumers and the. protection of those engaged in the industry.
