NEW FREEZING WORKS.
To the Editor! Sir,—This cutting shows what Fcilding farmers are doing:— k The directors of the Oroua and West Coast Freezing Company are in great heart over the prospects for next season. They are determined that no effort will be. spared to have the now works erected by the lirst week in December, and with that object in view, contracts have now .been let for both building and plant. In the meantime other initial works are being steadily pushed ahead, and as the rails 011 the railway siding to the site are being laid, this section of the work should be completed within another week. Now, sir, let Taranaki settlers show that the "cow" heart is as big as the "sheep" heart, by taking shares at once. Every person who owns a cow or a sheep knows that in a farmers' freezing works they will gee the outside value free from the middleman's cut, and what must be borne in mind is that if other companies want this stock they must give over the outside value, so the shareholders will be the winners.—l am, etc., X.Y.Z. Rahotu, June 39.
