The university has decided to allow medical students who have offered their services at the front to take the filial degrees earlier, ao as to permit them to qualify more quickly than in the regulation five years. This does not mean that the curriculum will be reduced, but students may pass by more strenuous efforts. The Cabinet is completing a scheme giving preference to returned soldiers. Land will be made available in irrigation and other settlement areas. The military authorities warn the public regarding cables from alleged soldiers in Egypt asking for money.
