PULLING TOGETHER.
To the Editor. Sir,—l noticed in the Xews a report of a meeting held at wlien it was decide! to petition the Education Board to (let a school at iMbturoa. It is a gr'e it pity the and Spotswood people don't pull together. A similar meeting was called at Spotswood a short time ago, having the same object ill view, namely, the erection of a school, and although notices were sent out freely, none of the Moturoa people put in an appearance. It was agreed on all sides that a school is needed in the district, and the question of site will have to be left to the Education Board. With regard to the objection taken by some in the Moturoa meeting to their names being on a recent petition, I may say that I, having charge of the petition, took the names of heads, whether male or female, of families who happened to be at home at the time. —I am, etc., C. WARREX. Spotswood, .Tune 24.
