(To the Editor.) Sir, —T agree with your correspondent, V. It js a sandy road, and it was no worse when the metal was put 011 it than it lia-d ever been. I have known it for seventeen years, and I think it did not require the people's rates spent 011 it, while the Upper Kahoi Road is in the state it is. The board has a right to keep road accounts.
