TARANAKJ, HUNT MEETING. • Owing to the North Taranaki Hunt receiving a wire from the Minister of Internal Affairs granting the Hunt jhtmission to hold their race meeting <iur ing the present racing season, the committee has decided to hold it oil July 21), instead of in August, as originally arranged. The following programme has been drafted for the meeting:—Hunters' Handicap Flat Race, of 30 govs., 1] mile: Stratford Hack Handicap, of 45 sovs., 5 furlongs; Ladies' Bracelet Handicap Steeplechase, of 25 sovs, and bracelet to the value of 10 sovs., about 2 miles; Waihi Hack Handicap, of 45 sovs, 7 furlongs; NortJi Taranaki Hunt Cup Handicap Steeplechase, of 100 sovs. and cup valued at 20 sovs. (presented by the Taranaki Jockey Club), about 3 miles; Lepperton Hunters' Hurdle Race, of 'lO sovs, 1-J miles; Opunakc Hack Handicap, of 45 sovs., 5 furlongs. The Hunt is giving away 340 sovs. in stakes and a cup valued at 20 sovs. By arranging for the meeting during the present season, the Hunt will be, able to hold another meeting in August, 1010. I
