AVIATOR'S FINE EXPLOIT. FLIES OX .THOUGH WOUNDED. Received June 15, 7.30 p.m. London, June 14. "Eye-witness" writes:—Oil the day Olir naval airmen scored their success two comrades of the Flying Corps made an adventurous flight, reconnoitring twenty miles from our lines. Severn I German aviators attacked. Our piiot was shot through the jaw and neck, and sustained a dangerous wound. He collapsed and lost control, and then recovered sufficiently to steady the machine and continue the flight. He was fired at by a succession of hostile airmen. The pilot gradually grew weaker from loss of blood, and was hardly conscious The observer helped to bandage the wound while he kept the machine going and completed the reconnaissance, and landed safely. The pilot is progressing. THE LOST ZEI'PEUX. Received June 15, 5 p.m. Amsterdam. June 14. The Zeppelin destroyed at Everie lia ; been identified as L-Z3B.
