HIGH PRICE OF FOOD. ANXIETY FOR THE HARVEST. Zurich, June 13. There is intense heat in AustriaHungary. The drought since April is causing anxiety for the harvest. There has been serious rioting in Budapest, owing to the deamess of food. Beet costs 3s 4d per pound. A mob attacked butchers' and provision shops. MR. BRYAN'S POSITION. Received June 14., 11.40 p.m. Washington, June 14. Mr. Bryan, in a further statement, says "he has not materially altered 'his View's since his resignation, although he saw the final draft of the Note. The change was insufficient to justify the withdrawal of his resignation.
