By Telegraph.—Pi ess Association. Wellington, Last Night. ITis Excellency the Governor lias received a communication from the Secretary of State for the Colonics with regard to the Dominion's contributions to tho forces at the front. The following summary has 'heen supplied for publication:—
''While hia Majesty's Government fully appreciate the desire of the peopln of New Zealand to provide all the assistance in their power, they re of opinion tliat at the present uncture, as no arms and equip-
rnont can ibe sent to Now Zealani from the United Kingdom at the present time, it would not bo desirable* to depart in any way from tlie curriculum of training and the numbers arranged between them and the New Zealand (Government for the New Zealand expeditionary forces."
