HOMING NEWS.

During the past fortnight the New Plymouth East Flying Club has decided two races. The first was a flock rase from Palmerston North, a distance of 130 miles. The weather was favorable, thus enabling the birds to put up fast, times. The race resulted as follow,}:— W. Deal's ißanlcsia, 2hr 3Gmin, 1; \V. Bransgrove, 2hr Sfimin 4>sec, 2; W. Roch's Jaekman, 2hr 38min, 3.

The second race was an interval race from Wanganui, a distance of 87 miles. The weather was unfavorable, bit fair times were recorded. Mr. Anabell kindlv liberated the birds. Results:—\V. Roch's Light Wing, 3hr 34min, 1; W. Beal'a Nelson, 3hr 45niin, 2; f. James's Castor Oil, 3hr 47min, 3.
