Taumarunui, 'Last Night. Sir Joseph Ward addressed a crowded meeting at Taumarunui to-night, many being unable to gain admission. The speaker, during a two hours and a half address, criticised on many points the Government's administration, and defended the policy of the Liberal Party. A most attentive hearing was given, and at the close a vote of thanks and confidence was carried by acclamation.
