To the Editor. g; r —Were it not for the last question in "Bewildered's" long rigmarole, winch appeared in your issue of tlie 9tli inst., he might bo "utterly befogged' and something else for the rest of tne time so far as lam concerned. However the insinuation that commissions in the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces go by political favor is so absurd that one cannot help asking "somebody to explain, why ''[Bewildered" is allowed about wituout someone in attendance. —I am, etc., W.AV.S.
