The men in camp at Trentham have boon notified that a separation allowance of la per. diem for seven davs a week has 'been granted .by the Minister of Defence to married non-commissioned officers and privates of the New Zealand expeditionary force. This applies to the wives of non-commissioned officers and privates of the main expeditionary force and all subsequent reinforcements. Payment is to commence from .Tune 1 1!)15, for those already in the force on that date, and from the date of enlistment for others. Claims for this separation allowance, must be made by the men wlio have' wives, or by tiro wives themselves, and proof of marriage must be produced.
