A SUDDEN DEATH.
VISITOR DIES AT THE SHOW. WELL-KNOWN INCJLEWOOD RESIDENT. Quite a shock was experienced at tha Coronation Hall yesterday afternoon when it became known that Mr. Geo, Williams, a well-known resident of Inglewood, a visitor to the show, had expired with startling suddenness. Deceased was evidently about to leave the show, and when near the door was seen to fall to* the Door, it was thought in a fainting fit. -
lie was picked up by Messrs J. R. Hill mid T. Luxton, and conveyed to Dr. Brewster's in a car, but lie expired en route. The body was conveyed to the morgue by Constable Boulton. Deceased's wife was present in another portion of the show, ,'tnd did not know of her husband's death until later. Deceased,. who was 57 years of age, leaves a grown, up family. Mr. Williams was farming at Maude Road, near Egmont VilJa"e until about twelve months ago, when his sons carried on the farm, and he! retired to Inglewood, where he has lately been in the employ of the Moa Dairy Company as a carter.
As Dr. McCloliind is able to certify to the cause of death, ai) inquest will not be necessary.
