EGMONT LICENSING COMMITTEE.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Egmont Licensing Committee \yas held a.t 101tham on Wednesday last. Applications for permanent transfers were granted for the Rahotu Hotel (Mr. Ryan) from C. L. Kaspar to Mrs. Quin; Okaiawa Hotel (Mr. Ryan), from H. Mace to H. Mulholland. Transfer of license for the Eltham Hotel from V. L. Leatham to C. L. Kaspar (Mr. Weir) was granted. Renewals were granted to the Club Hotel, Opunake, A. E. Brunette; Coronation Hotel (Mr. Morrisin), Elthain, E. Crabtree; Manaia Hotel, A. Johnson; Dominion Hotel, Kaponga, J. W. Carter; Waimate Hotel, Manaia. J. Russell; Oeo Hotel; Otakeho Hotel, E. Andrews; Knowles' Hotel, Opunake. A plan of tiie new building was submitted, and, with some slight alteration, was approved, and the permanent license was held over till September 1 pending the erection of the building. A wholesale license was granted to Messrs King and Stibbs.
