WHEAT SUPPLY. London, June 3. Tho risible American wheat supply is 35,315,000 quarters. Chicago July options are 120% to 117% cents; September, 117% to 114'/,. Wheat is depressed, there being a pronounced weakness, American and Canadian -white qualities and La Platiy being from sixpence to a shilling lower. Indian was offered at Is Gd decline. Australian afloat, -Gos to GGs. LONDON MARKETS. London, June 3. Wheat is weak. Sellers are offering to accept Gd less. Australia cargo afloat : Gss. Flour is neglected. Oats are dull. New Zealand 375: Baliia Blanca June-July 29s 3d. Peas and beans are steady and unchanged. I LOAN & MERCANTILE CO.'S REPORT The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. (Stratford branch) report as follows: — On Friday, May 28, we held our usual monthly sale in our Te Wera yards, when wa had a yarding of 94 head of cattle and 420 sheep, of which we sold 05 cattle and all the sheep at the following rates:—Empty Jieifers £2 10s to £2 12s Od, in-calf heifers 97s 6d, mixed weaners 20s, store cows £4 2s (id to £0 ss, bulls £3 18s od,""i3! 5s to £5, lambs 9s lid, mixed age ewes 15s. Our next sale at this point will be -held on Friday, June 25. On Tuesday, Ist inst., we held our usual fortnightly sale in our Stratford •yards. On account of the very cold and rough weather we had only a medium yarding of stock. However, we were able to dispose of most of the lines yarded as follows: —Fat cows, £0 2s 6d, £0 12s Gd, £G 13s, £0 17s-Gd, £7 3s, £7 Bs, £9, £9 7s; good store cows, £5 3s, £5 (is, £5 15s, £5 17s; medium store cowa £4, £4 7s, £4 Ss to £4 10s; poor and old store cows, £2, £2 49, £2 143, £3 lis, £3 13s and £3 15s; in-calf heifers, £2 7s Gd to £2 17s Od; empty heifers, 45a Gd; weaner steers, 32s Od; weaner heifers, l!)s. Our next 'Stratford sale will be held on Tuesday, June 15. On Tuesday, Ist inst., we also held our monthly sale of wool, sheepskins, | -hides, etc., when we offered a catalogue of 372 packages of wool, sheepskins, hides and tallow. There was a full attendance of buyers and bidding for wool and sheepskins was brisk. Our next wool and skin sale will be held on Tuesday, June 29. Matthews Gainlin and Co. report a small yarding of cattle and sheep at their Inglewood yards last Wednesday. There was good enquiry for all elas.s.-s of cows, but other cattle were dull of sale. We quote: Fat cows £S to £0 12s Gd; forward cows £5 5s to £G ss; store cows £3 3s to £4 13s; mixed weaners 23s to 28s; heifers 18s to 29*: i'.m. ewes 14s. On Monday last we held a sale for Mr. Harry Hall, when there was an excellent attendance, and bidding for all stock was good. In calf heifers (early calvers) £0 15s to £9 2s Gd, others ;C-t Ids to £1); horses (broken to all harness) C2O to £29, unbroken horses £9 drill £2B; other implements and furniture at fair prices.
