The Prime Minister, the Hon. W. P. Masscy, intends to visit New 'Plymouth and the district next week. lie is expected to arrive on Tuesday evening, and will open the Taramiki Agricultural'* Society's Winter Show dt the Coronation Uall at 2 p.m. the following <lav, Wednesdnv.

Taking advantnge of this visit, Mr. Okev, M.T., has arranged a nericß <yf meetings, at which the Prime Minister will give addresses to the settlers. On Wednesday morning he will meet the settlers at the I.epperton Hull from D.3o* to 10.:!0. I'rom there he will go to Tikorangi, speaking at the hall therefrom 1] to 12, returning thence to town, where he will open tho Winter Show in the afternoon. In the evening he will give an address at St. John's Hall, Waitara, at 8 p.m., when the chair will be taken by the Mayor of Waitara.

On Thursday. Mr. Massey will go out as far as Uruti, speaking in the hall' there at 11 a.m., returning to Urenui where lie will give an address at 8 p.m.' when Mr. Bower chairman of the Clifton County Council, will preside. On Thursday evening the Prime Minister will be pleased to receive deputation# at the White Hart Hotel after the arrival of the mail train.

K deputation from the Clifton County Council will wait on tlx- Primn Minister at Waitara on Thursday morning.
