THE WEATHER.
FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is Mr. Bates's weather forecast:—Present indications are for easterly breezs, northward of Hokitika and I.y Melton, and moderate to strong northerly winds elsewhere; fine weather is probable generally, but misty at times, especially in the east coast and southernmost portions of the South Island. The barometer lias a falling tendency, although little movement is indicated at present.
