ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUICIDE OF MENTAL PATIENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. • 'Wellington, Last Niglit. A young man named George Mitchell, a mental patient at Porirua Asylum, committed suicide by hanging. At the inquest evidence was given that Mitchell was a quiet patient, with no suicidal tendencies. He was left for a few minutes and went to the lavatory, where he was fonnd suspended l>y a strap.
