A run of bad luck seems to have been the lot of the late Private George R. Paterson, of Wellington, who a few days ago was reported to have been killed at the Dardanelles. It appears that Private Paterson arrived in London as fourth engineer of an ocean-going steamer, and at onee enlisted. He trained at Salisbury Plains.
