TJeutenant Steadmnn, son of an elMayor of Wliangarei, has been killed in the Dardanelles. Laneo-Corporal W. G. Matthe."on, of Port Chalmers, ha* been wounded; Private. William Shaldriek Coleman, of Wellington, lias been killed. Captain A. G. Watson and Private R, Stone, New Zealanders, have been killed. 'Private Harold fleorge, who was killed in the Dardanelles, was a prominent Rugby Union player, and was a member of the team that toured New Zealand. INVALIDED SOLDTERS EXPECTED. Dunedin, Last Night. The troopship is expected to arrive at Port Chalmers to-morrow from Egypt with 13!) invalided soldiers. It is understood that there are ninety special eases " and these will be placed in hospital on Quarantine Island. AUSTRALIAN COMMANDER WOUNDED.
Received May 30, 3.30 p.m. Melbourne. May 30. Mr. Pearee has announced that Colonel McKay, second-in-command of the Australian forces at the Dardanelles, has been wounded above the knee. The wound is not serious, and it is expected he will shortly resume duty.
