WORKS COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDATIONS. Osborne's and another house to be connected (estimated cost. £l2 10s)• that th-i attention of the proprietor be drawn to the fact that the main entrance to the Theatre Royal was closed during the meeting on May 17, contrary to the conditions of the license for the building, and that he be informed that a similar state of affairs must not be permitted again; that Messrs. E, Ding;- and ethers he informed that the council cannot see its way to authorise the formation I and metalling of Waiwaka Termo'and I Chilman Street; that the chairmen's ;:c tion in authorising the co:;eiek> Hag footway at tho Central V,re Station*, i the Fire Hoard undertaking to ray J lie j additional cost, be coie'inned; Mr. W.
