V ESTKItDAY'S MATCHES. STAR 11. v. HIGH SCHOOL. This match did not take place, as the Star team has dropped oat ,jl tuc competition. STRATFORD 111. v. INGLLWOOD HI. Inglcwood forfeited this match to Stratford, and this being tile second occasion on which they have had to forfeit they drop out of this competition. SATURDAY'S MATCHES. Notification has been received by the Tukapa Football Club that Inglcwood will fulfil its engagement en Western Parle oil Saturday. The following team has been se'ected to represent Tukapa:—Ryder, Coutts, Loveridgc, llewton, .Mima, Skipper, Fuller, Perry, Waka, R. Broughton, Ward, Bacon, Carroll and. Farley. TECHNICAL COLLEGE v. STRATFORD HIGH SCHOOL. These teams met oil the sports ground, a fast game resulting in a win for the local team by 17 points to 8. In the, lirst spell Technical College scored two tries, J cileries and Lealaml crossing the line; Olliver failing to convert. 11l the second spell play was fast and interesting, iLcaland and Fuller crossing the line for Technical College; Olliver converting one try. Olliver also kicked a fine pounJty goal. For .Stratford, Coutts scored two tries and converted. one. 'For Stratford, Coutts played a fine game, anil for the local team ■lell'eries and Olliver played solid games. .Mr. Page ably controlled the game. TUKAPA 11. v. CLTFTON . These teams met at Waitua, the home team winning by 24. jioiats to 8. The first spell was evenly contest")!, both sides scoring a points. In the second spell Clifton scored !) points.
