By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The. New Zealand Furniture Trades Industrial Union of Employers, who held their annual meeting here yesterday, decided to offer to the Government 4f)o kapok mattresses required for the equipment of the hospital ship. The value of the gift is about £SOO. The offer of the New Zealand Power Boat Association to present one of the motor boats required for the Dominion's hospital ship has been accepted. Tile association also offered to man the launch, but the Governor states this is opposed to tho regulations. The cost of the launch with complete equipment will bo probably .£3.50.
