The Press Bureau states th.it the British, French and Russian Governments report that for a month' the Kurds and Turkish population of Armenia have been massacring the Armenians with the connivance, and often with the help, of the Ottoman authorities. -Massacres occurred at Erzeroiim, Dcrtehan, Eyin, Bitlis, Sassoun, iMouss, Zeitun. and in the whole of the Eilicia. Inhabitants in a hundred villages near Van were alj assassinated. The Turks besieged the Armenian quarter of Van, and the Ottoman Government at Constantinople at the same time was raging against the uuoffensivo Armenians. In the face of these fredi crimes the Allied Governments announce publiclv that they hold all the members of the Ottoman Government and its agents personally responsible for the massacres.
