A memorial service in honor of tha New Zenlanders killed at the Dardanelles was lield in the Newtown Park under the auspices of the New Zealand Patriotic Society yesterday. There waft an audience of 10,000 citizens, which included the Prime Minister and the Mayor (Mr J. P. Luke). The Wellington (sth) Regiment. 1) Battery, New Zealand Engineers, the Railway and Post and Telegraph Engineers, Army Service Corps, Ambulance Corps, senior cadets, veterans and national reserve units, to the total number of 3000 inen, paraded. The service was conducted by Chaplain-Major I'. C. Bates and Chaplain-Captain J. Q. Chapman. Seven bands took part in tha proceedings, and crowded streets wit-, nessed the march of the soldiers to tha Park.
