DOMINION WILL ALWAYS DO ITS DUTY. Wellington, Last Night. A memorial service in honor of tha New Zenlanders killed at the Dardanelles was lield in the Newtown Park under the auspices of the New Zealand Patriotic Society yesterday. There waft an audience of 10,000 citizens, which included the Prime Minister and the Mayor (Mr J. P. Luke). The Wellington (sth) Regiment. 1) Battery, New Zealand Engineers, the Railway and Post and Telegraph Engineers, Army Service Corps, Ambulance Corps, senior cadets, veterans and national reserve units, to the total number of 3000 inen, paraded. The service was conducted by Chaplain-Major I'. C. Bates and Chaplain-Captain J. Q. Chapman. Seven bands took part in tha proceedings, and crowded streets wit-, nessed the march of the soldiers to tha Park.
The Rev. Archibald E. 3 hint, whose son has been wounded in Turkey, da-» livcred an inspiriting address, callingfor more men. Store men was also the keynote o£ the address of the l!t. Hon. W. F. Magsey. He xvus proud, lie said, that Ne\r Zen land was doing her part in tiie gigantic struggle, and lie paid a tribute to the silent work of the mothers and wives, who were making big sacrifices. Men were needed to take the place of thotft who had fallen and were falling so glori« ouslv at tho Dardanelles. The Dominion would always do its part till Britai* had concluded peace with honor.
