SHARP ARTILLERY DUELS. GERMAX AVIATORS BROUGHT DOWN. FRENCH CAPTURE TREXCUES. Received May 21, 8.5 p.m. Paris, May 21. •Official: There have boon .sharp artillery duels between Niouport and Arras. Two German aviators wore brought down, one by the Britisli and the other by us. We progressed by mining operations at Beaus'eiour as far as the enemy's trenches. We repulsed an attack at Bagatelle and carried further trendies at Bois d'Ailly.

The British further advanced on Tuesday night on La Quin Rue and Rue d'Ouverte, the troops since entrenching and consolidating the new positions. The weather continues unfavorable.
