"A Wayward Daughter" is a very pretty little.story and shows Jiow a headstrong eounlry lass narrowly averts her downfall. "A Hasty Judgment" ]i a beautiful love story of an almost, unique plot. It concerns a brilliant, artist anil the wife of a Minister of the Krcnch Cabiu-t. The "'l'opieal 'Budget" tains items of interest concerning the war. "Khododcndron Culture" is also a film of great interest. "And-,- has the Tootliaehe," "She Was the' Other," and "A Bargain Tablecloth" were the eomedies shown. To-morrow Carlyle lilaekwell is featured in .Famous ['layers' 4-llllllltt star drama. "The Spitfire," ' Plan of reserved' seats for Saturday is now open at the theatre.

Holly's friend, Rockwell Crosby, the managing editor of the Comet, got into a row wiih the management of tin! paper and resigned, his- place being taken by a self-confessed "hustler," who fully intended to make evervbol'y on the paper sit up and. take notice. The first assignment lie give Dolly wa>. a commission to wander' about" the streets after dark until she found a story. Dolly was furious. She had made a distinct place for herself on the Comet staff, and she was accustomed to being treated with some consideration. However, there was, nothing to do but to obey; so Dolly started out. To her aimizcment.,oiic of the first pe )- people. she met was Klla Snyder, an old school friend. Klla was weeping bitterly. She had eloped that morning with a young man named. Oliver Allen. Oliver-had brought her to an hotel and departed in search of a license. He bad not come back for two hears, and r.'bi, thinking she had been dece.:-'"J, decided to drown herself. Dolly took her'home, and went, forth in search of Allen. She found him at the hotel completely bewildered at the unaccountable disappearance of his bride-to-be. Dolly, convinced that his intentions were honorable, took him back wit i a.-; 'H'fcn she arrived at her rooms, Ella had disappeared again. This time she had left a note, saying she had finally resolved to die. In order to repay Dolly Ella said that she was going to throw herself fcom the highest building :n town. Dolly could make a scoop of n.ews. Dolly and Allen.riished over to Ihe Wooiworth building and succeeded in stopping Ella just in time. Then they l epaired to the City Hall, where Jvl'a and Allen were married. Dolly returned to the newspaper office and'told the editor that she had a story, but that she didn't intend to write it. He was wildly indignant at first, until Dolly had calmly, explained that she knew perfectly what she was doing. Keystone's 2000 ft comedy, "The Sea Nymphs," is the feature on the programme. Several other films of an amusing and educating character will also be shown.
