'Sir,—Re tlic recent riot at Watigauui and hist night at Now 1'lymoullt: While deploring that Britishers should .stoop to such 'German'' methods of showing hatred, do you not think with me that the irresponsible ijicwons eoncerncil would serve their cause and country bettor if they enlisted? We want young and able-bodied men at tile front, and will want them before, Germany is taught tlie lesson of civilisation. -List these 'persons remember this, that the old married men are still quite capable of looking after this country and all the Germans in it, and if they desire to, blow oil' their patriotic ardor, well, enlist at once and let us see that they are genuine, for their King and country want them, not here, to disgrace the freedom of Britishers, but with sword and rilie at the front. —I am, etc., NEW ZIiALAXDER.
