A goodly number gathered on the New Plymouth Howling Club's green in Brougham -Street yesterday t.> witness the match between the president's and vice-president's teams, the final game - the season. Fine but somewhat cold weather prevailed, but a pleasant afternoon was spent. As will be seen by the scores, the president's side secured tile victory by IS points. There was a large gathering of lady friends, who kindly dispensed afternoon tea. The caretaker, Air. Revell, had the green in capital order, so that play was enjoyable.
