The sub- 0 marine went in pursuit and fired a tor- ~ pedo, wliich passed close to the tug. ]( The submarine gave up the chase in t half an hour, and disappeared. t. The ITomer steamed into Benbride with thirty bullet holes in the hull, and the barque arrived at Dungliens under sail. RECENT NAVAL ■ENGAGEMENT. GERMAN TORPEDOERS DESTROYED.
