?QWING to the fact that the notices in connection with the Society's Annual Meeting were somewhat late in reaching the various shareholders, •thereby preventing them from having sufficient time to discuss same and arrange for fresh nominations for the new Directorate, it lias been decided to propose a resolution at the meetings on Saturday next, the loth instant, that both the. Annual Meeting and the Extraordinary Meeting for passing special resolution be dissolved and the Directors be requested to convene new meetings on a later date of which due notice will be given, and it is intended to allow farther -time for nominations for Directors and for depositing proxies for the new meetings which it is intended to call.
