MEETING OF NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. CROUCH'S DISQUALIFICATION EXPUNGED. Wellington, T.aat Night. At a meeting of the New Zealand Football Association held to-night, Mr. C. K. Fordham presiding, the following delegates were present:—Messrs. J. Lewis, Wanganui; T. McLean, Auckland; I!. Ih'tcheson, Marlborough; F. O'Connoll, .Southland; W. Auld, Taranaki; J. F. Atkins, Manawatu; H. McKeoxvn. Ilaw.ke's Bay; W. J. H. Reynolds, Poverty Bay; A. Kerr (treasurer) and H. L. Salmon (secretary). A discussion took place on the question whether a man was eligible to play for any association outside New Zealand if he is suspended by an association affiliated to the New Zealand body. It was finally decided to write, to the English Football Association, asking for a ruling. It was decided that the annual meeting of the New Zealand Association be held on May 28.

All affiliated associations are to be written to for instructons regarding the playing of the Brown Shield and other representative matches this season. A challenge which was received for a Brown Shield match from Otago was accepted, -provided the matches be proceeded with. 'Messrs. 0. P. Skerrett, W. Monckton and ,1. Smith, who constituted the Appeal Board in the Crouch ease, reported as follows:—"AVe think that Mr. Crouch by his indiscreet conduct held himself open to grave objection, but in view nf the divergent findings of fact by the Wellington and New Zealand Associations we cannot bold it clearly proved that Mr. Crouch intended to interfere with the referee, or that his conduct was consciously improper. For this rearson we direct that the disqualification of Mr Crouch be expunged "

A letter was received from the Secretary of the Treasury, acknowledging receipt of the association's letter of October 15, 1014, enclosing bank receipt fur £.lO contribution from the New Zealand Football Association for the purchase of an ammunition waggon for the Xcw Zealand Forces. The writer stated that he had to express the thanks and warm appreciation of the Government for the generous donation.
