PART XTT. regulates the use of public buildings, enclosures and grounds and the licensing (if public buildings anil fees payable therefor. TART XIV. regulates dairies and milk supply, and the inspection, lighting, ventilation, cleansing, drainage and water supply of dairies and milk shops, and the licensing of dairies and milk shops and of milk carts, and fixes fees payable therefor. PART XV. regulates the licensing and duties of wiremen and the supply of electricity and works connected therewith, and fixes fees for licenses and charges for supply of electricity. PART XVI. regulates water supply and works connected therewith and fixes charges for ordinary and extraordinary water supply, the connection of all buildings with the water supply and what material to be used anA sizes of pipes and taps, and fixes fees for inspection of all works and testing of taps, cisterns and meters. PART XVII. regulates the use and control of public libraries, the use of libraries generally by tho publie, and subscriptions payablo thereto, and provides for the maintenance of quietness and good order therein. PART XVIII. regulates the use of public baths and bathing generally and fixes fees for the use of the publie baths and provides for the good conduct of all persons frequenting the public baths or bathing on the beach and for mixed bathing and the wearing of proper bathing costumes. (PART XIX. regulates the licensing and control of billiard saloons and fixes fees therefor and the conduct of all persons frequenting the same and the pretention of all gaming and wagering therein.

PART. XX. provides for the regulating and licensing of boardinghouses and llxoa fees payable therefor, and for the proper conduct of such houses and limiting the numbers to bo lodged in a boarding-house and in each room thereof, and for the proper separation of the sexes. PART XXI. regulates the licensing and proper conduct of all hawkers and pedlars, and keepers of coffee or other street stalls, and fixes fees for tho same. PART XXII. provides for the licensing of porters, criers and bellringers and fixes fees for sush license and tho charges to be made by such porters, criers and bellringcrs and for their proper conduct. PART XXfll. regulates the use and and management of the cemetery and fixes the size and charges for the purchase of burial lots and also fees payable in respect of burials and the keeping clean of graves and as to the erection of headstones #nd monuments and of family vaults. PART XXIV. provides rules of procedure at meetings of the Council. The said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a special meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, King Street, Xew Plymouth, on WEDNESDAY, tho 19th day or May, 1915, at 7.30 p.m. ; at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-Laws will be fixed. A copy of the proposed Special Order and By-Laws is deposited at the ollicc of the Council in King Street, Kew Plymouth, where the same will lie open for public inspection, during office hours, from the 10th day of May, 1915, until the said confirming meeting is held.
