TARAWAKI ItUfißY UNION. : THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. I A meeting of the Management Committee of the T;iriniiil;i Rugby I'nion was lield at Stratford lust evening, when \ there were present:—Messrs. Mel.eod (in the chair), Musters, Feuron, Nalder, j llyau, Lees, Buchanan, Hansen and .Skoglund.
Kltham was grunted permission to play first and second junior teams without a senior team, and a similar concession was made to Okaiawa.
The union accepted with thanks a donation of £l2 from the Waitara Club towards tile union funds. It was resolved to send a team to play Wanganui 011 .June 3, provided a team was available.
A sub-committee, consisting of the chairman and Mr. Masters, was appointed to wait on the Teachers' Institute, with a view to altering the conditions' of the Bayly scholarship, and the Wanganui Education Board is to be notified-' of the action being taken. It was decided that the season be opened on Thursday, May 20, for juniors (North), and Saturday,' May 22, for all grades in the south. Selectors were appointed:—North division, .Messrs. Mynott, JlcLeod and Buchanan; South J. MeLeod, B. Fearon and E. Nalder; representative team selectors, Messrs. Jfynott, C. Crowley and D. Malonc. Mr ™ nll,ie was £ PPointed delegate to the N.Z.R..U.
Messrs. Mcleod. E. ■ Nalder and the honorary secretary were appointed an executive.
