Copper.—Spot £75 17sGdto £76 2s (3d, three months £77 2s Cd to £77 7s Cd; electrolytic £BS 10s to £B6 10s. Tin.—Spot £IOO 10s to £lOl, throe months £l6l 15s to £162 ss. Lead, £2O to £2O ss. Spelter, £OB to £64. At the wool sales there was good competition for best merinos, but shabby sorts wore irregular and erossbreds unchanged. The Tainumu clip brought top price 16d, average 15jjd. MELBOURNE WOOL SALES. Melbourne, May 5. At the wool sales competition was keen for good sorts at last week's level. Short wools and inferiors were irregular and neglected.
