I IN THE NORTH SEA. ~ AIRSHIP ATTACK REPORTED. BRITISH SUBMARINES ATTACKED. Received May 5, 11.20 p.m. * Amsterdam, 3Tav 5. The German Admiralty claim that an airship engaged several British submarines in the North Sea. 'Bombs were thrown and one submarine was sunk. The submarines bombarded the airship, Which returned unharmed. A TRAWLER ATTACKED. , CRUEL GERMAN TREATMENT. " A TRAWLER ATTACKED. Received May 5, !> p.m. London, May 5. A submarine attacked a trawler off Aberdeen. Four of the crew wen- killed and the rest escaped in boats and were landed at Aberdeen. Received May o, 11.10 p.m. London, May 5. The survivors of the trawler' were ' landed at Aberdeen, after having been | lulrift for forty hours without food or iWater. Ater one 'minute's grace the vessel was shelled by shrapnel until she ■, »mik. The second shot wounded the captain Mid another killed him whik> he was crawling along the deck. The cook was I, killed while lowering a boat. All the survivors were wounded, with one exteption. The men on the submarine laughed at the efforts to escape. COAL STEAMER SUNK, London, May 4. The steamer 'Mintcnie, eoal-laden, bound for the River Hate, was torpedoed otr the Seilly Isles. Two firemen were killed and the remainder rescued.
