BOY SCOUTS.
The District Committee mot last night at St. .Mary's Schoolroom, the Kev. F. Oawshaw presiding. It was decided to suspend the Omata Troop for the remainder of the year, and that a display of Scout work bo made at .the Winter Show. A vote of thanks was accorded to. tlie. Stratford Committee for its kindness to the visiting Scouts on Easter 'Monday. . Mrs. ('. It. Burgess attended the meeting on behalf of the. Victoria Lougne toask tlie assistance of the Scouts in keeping in order the. graves of tlie soldier* huried j n Xew, Plymouth. It was decided that when the work m connection with tlie graves has been completed by the (lovernment contractor, who is now engaged thereon, that the Scouts will continue the work of the Central Troop in keeping the graves in order.
