DOWN THE COAST. The net result of the Rathotu picnic on Easter Monday was £ll7, which is highly creditable. l'ungarehu settlers dispute the fact that they were greeted by unfavorable weather for their sports meeting last Wednesday, which also netted £lll. The Okato Domain Board has forwarded us a cheque for £l3 7s sd, which wc have pleasure in handing to the treasurer of the fund. This represents half the profits of the picnic and sports meeting which was held on the Domain on Easter Monday. The other half will be devoted to the improvement of the new domain. There is still a lamb to be sold, which will augment the fund n little.
