ELTHAM NEWS.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) A special meeting was held at Eltham last night, the Mayor presiding, to consider a requisition in faYor of adding to the Eecreation Grounds an area of 3 2-3 acres, the purchase price being £7OO. It was decided to refer the matter to tiie Borough Council. The Eltham Patriotic Committee has decided to hold a church parade next Sunday. At a well-attended meeting of the Patriotic Committee on Saturday arrangements were made for holding a recruiting rally on Monday, 10th inst. It is expected that the morement will be v. thorough success.
