URL'TI. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A Soldiers' Day was held at Uruti on April 2!), which realised al>oiit £62 net for the funds of the Victoria League. Although the weather was very unfavorable, there was a good attendance of settlers. Contributions consisted of live stock-, sheep, pigs and poultry, as well as a good assortment of vegetables and faney goods. The evening was devoted to dancing, interspersed with songs an<i musical items. In addition to an enjoynble day's outing, the settlers have the satisfaction of knowing that their efforts were well rewarded in a praiseworthy cause.
