SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Wellington, Last Night. Following is Mr. Bates' weather summary for the' past 2-1' hours:—Strong west to south-westerly winds have ruled with squally and showery conditions in many parts, especially on the west coast and southern districts. The barometer has had a rising tendency. Forecast: Present indications arc for cold and changeable weather, with ruin in parts and squally conditions in the southern districts, strong southwesterly winds predominating and a rising barometer everywhere.
