THE PROPOSED FREEZING WORKS.
The proposal to establish co-operative freezing works is being taken up very heartily along the coast between New Plymouth and Opunakc. Yesterday at the Okato sale, though the weather militated against a large attendance, an additional 80 shares were applied for. On Monday evening a meeting convened by Mr. J. S. Connett will be held at Bell Block to discuss the proposal.
