FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. (Wellington Last Night. The following is Mr. Bates's weather forecast:— Present indications are for strong westerly winds, changing to southerly northward of Cook Strait, and south-easter-lies, changing to south-westerlies slsewhere. Expect cloudy weather and unsettled conditions, rain generally, and snow on higher levels; colder weather soor.. Barometer pressure is increasing everywhere, but probably only temporarily in the south.
