The committee elected to run the school affairs at the householders' meeting on Monday was as follows:—'Messrs. T. King, I. J. Bridger, A. H. lAndrews, \V. Bailey, L. Libcau, L. Cressweli, L. Strack, and T. Hurrell. Mr.niurrcll was elected chairman and Mr. Bridger secretary.
At All Saints' annual meeting, Mr. 0. W. Bennett was elected vicar's warden, and Mr. F. Amoorc people's warden. The following vestry was also selected:—Messrs. F. Belciier, G. Turner, A. Best, 11. A. Prideaux, T. B. Crump, C. Wilson, and K. il. .Stibbs. Tlio blowing were appointed Mtssrs. Davidson, Dow, Wliittington, Innis, Burrows, and Rogers. The residents of tlie Clieal and Wingrove Roads are considering a. further movement in connection with tlie agitation for the erection of a school on tlie Wailiapa Road, in view of the fact that the Stratford County .Council is opening up that road.
Yesterday's, heavy rain was greatly appreciated by the fanners of the dls'trii't. The paddoc'ks had been assuming a somewhat parched appearance, but the warm rains will prove very beneficial, and a slightly increased milkyield may confidently be expected for a few days.
