Butter.—The market is quiet and stduly. Fair demand for best quality, but poorer demand for lower grades. Danish, steady, 142s to 141s. New Zealand, market quiet, 132s to 1345; unsalted 138s to 140s. Australian 128s to 130s. Siberian, fair demand, 128s to lufln. Argentine 126s to 130s. Cheese. There is no alteration in the market since last week. Large quantities of United States cheese continue to arrive. The Government buying keeps the market steady. Prices will be maintained. For New' Zealand there is a dull demand in usual trade on account of the high price. Canadian stock small. "White 06s to 08s, colored 94s to 00s. New, Zealand, steady, white 93s to 04s, colored !)3s. United States in pood demand. Flats and doubles, colored Bos to BSs, white SBs to 80s. Australian, white or colored 88s to AOs. English clieddar supplies are nearly exhausted, at 104s to 100s.

Hump.—TJie market is very quiet. Nothing doing, and prices have declined. Xew Zealand good fair grade £32 10s, fair £3O 10s; Manila £3B; forward shipinent, good fair £.ll 10s, fair £29 10s: Manila £36 10s. The output from -Manila for tins week was 25,000 bales. Hops.
