NEWALL ROAD. (From a Correspondent.) At the instance of the Xewall School Committee, a very enjoyable evening was spent last Friday night by a large nunibr.;- of persons. Tile chairman (Mr. Walter liumball), after according everybody a hearty welcome, stated that the committee had gone in for a piano two years' ago, which had cost over £45. they had paid it oif a year sooner than they expected, a very creditable performance to everybody concerned. A feature of the evening was the splendid music given by the Dueker family. Messrs Jones and Smith also assisted, while Mr. A. Rookes acted as M.0., Dancing was kept up till a late hour.
